Rukita Welcomes Landlords to an Exclusive Fine Dining Evening in SCBD

On September 17, 2026, Rukita welcomed a group of landlords to an Exclusive Fine Dining evening at Bottega Ristorante in the heart of SCBD.

The evening had a warm and relaxed atmosphere from the moment guests arrived. Over dinner, landlords had the opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with Rukita’s C-level executives and Business Development team in a more personal setting.

Before dinner was served, Maybank and Rukita shared an introduction to Build-to-Rent (BTR), an end-to-end solution for property owners who want to develop a boarding house (kost-kostan) from the ground up. From initial planning and design to construction and day-to-day operations, Rukita helps manage the process so property owners can focus on growing their investment.

The discussion also touched on the potential returns of professionally managed boarding house properties. Based on Rukita’s figures, the business has delivered an average annual ROI of 15–20%, with an 85% occupancy rate, compared with indicative annual returns of 3–6% for bank deposits and 8–15% for mutual funds.

Adding another perspective to the evening, Andri Johar, Design Manager at Rukita, shared insights into property design and the evolving coliving concept. After dinner, guests had the opportunity to continue the conversation one-on-one with the Rukita team, discussing their properties, potential BTR opportunities, and the possibilities of entering or growing their coliving business.
Overall, the evening was more than just a fine dining experience—it was an opportunity for Rukita and its landlord partners to connect, exchange ideas, and explore new possibilities for the future of property investment and modern rental living.
