Request to change check-out date
You can request a check-out date change by contacting Rukita Tenant Service. Before that, please make sure you understand the following terms:
- If the check-out date change request is made before completing 30 days of stay
- The deposit cannot be refunded because the minimum 30-day stay requirement has not been met, as per Rukita Tenant Terms.
- Any room damage fees (if any) must be paid separately and cannot be deducted from the deposit.
- Apartment water and electricity bills must be paid separately and cannot be deducted from the deposit.
- What to do after submitting an early check-out request:
- Ensure all the room charges, apartment utilities, and any damage fees are paid.
- Return the keys to the staff.
- Wait for the room inspection after check-out.
- If the check-out date change request is during the commitment promo period
- The deposit cannot be refunded because check-out occurs before the commitment promo period ends.
- Rent and any Add-ons must be paid up to the check-out date and cannot be covered by the deposit.
- Any room damage fees (if any) must be paid separately and cannot be deducted from the deposit.
- Apartment water and electricity bills must be paid up to the check-out date and cannot be deducted from the deposit.
- What to do after submitting an early check-out request:
- Make sure to pay the remaining rent up to the check-out date and any Add-ons (if any), including apartment utility bills and any damages.
- Return the keys to the staff.
- Wait for the room inspection after check-out.
- If the check-out date change request is during the upfront promo period
- Any remaining prepaid rent is forfeited and non-refundable.
- The deposit can be refunded if:
- There is no damage to the room.
- There are no other outstanding charges (rent/Add-ons/utilities).
- For Co-Living units, deposit refund is processed within up to 10 working days after H+1 from the check-out date (excluding weekends and public holidays).
- For apartment units, the deposit refund is processed after water and electricity bills from the Building Management are issued (timelines vary by unit). Once all utility bills are confirmed paid, the refund is estimated within up to 19 working days thereafter.
- What to do after submitting an early check-out request:
- Return the keys to the staff.
- Wait for the room inspection after check-out.
- Requests to change the check-out date for extending the stay will be processed depending on room availability.
